On October 10, 2025, Sr. Dolores Carmel and Sr. Michelle Elizabeth attended the Franciscan University of Steubenville’s annual Religious Vocations Fair. The event brought together over fifty dioceses and religious communities of both men and women. Sr. Michelle Elizabeth and Sr. Dolores spent the day encountering students and staff, members of the community, and religious from across the country. A special Mass for Vocations was celebrated in the newly renovated Christ the King Chapel on FUS’ Campus.

On October 21-22, 2025, the Diocese of Albany held its annual Vocations Fair at St. Edward the Confessor parish in Clifton Park NY. The event was attended by students in 4^th-8^th grade from Catholic schools throughout the Diocese. The day included Mass with Bishop Scharfenberger, Eucharistic Adoration, and a Q&A panel (comprised of a diocesan priest, a Religious Sister and Brother, and a married couple). Students also had the opportunity to visit and interact with the various religious communities present at their booths.

The opportunity to participate in both events – and to encounter so many young people – was a beautiful reminder of the reality of the unique plan that the Lord has for each one of His children. May we continue to pray for our young people, that they may discern God’s will for their lives and respond generously to His call!
