Sister Christopher Jude of the Carmelite Sisters for the Aged and Infirm arrived in Rome, Italy to attend the celebrations of the Jubilee Year for Consecrated Life celebrated on October 8-9, 2025.  After taking a taxi, she made her way to the International Center of Saint Albert, the Carmelite House of Studies, where she will be staying for the duration of her visit. She shared her experience of her  first day in these words: "After lunch, I zigzagged to Saint Peter's Square where a massive number of pilgrims from all over the world were processing through St. Peter's Square. The security procedure was very high at each column, checking everything, and everyone. Presently, I am in a massive line to possibly enter the Basilica. Here are a few pictures I took, but they do not show the unbelievable faith of all the people coming to Rome for the Jubilee Year."
