On June 29, 2025, Sister Helena and Sister Michelle Elizabeth were invited to participate at Saint Christopher Church's Vacation Bible School.  The Vacation Bible Camp was scheduled on June 29- July 2, 2025 at Saint Christopher's Church in Red Hook, NY with the theme of "A Catholic Marvel- Saints and Super Heroes". We started with the Sunday Mass for the Solemnity of Saints Peter and Paul at the Church of Saint Christopher and then the kids and their parents, counselors and CCD teachers walked to the nearby Saint Christopher Gym where lesson, fun and games awaited them.  Sister Michelle Elizabeth gave the first lesson of the first day- Saints Peter and Paul- the first Catholic Super Heroes! She engaged the kids with an opening game ice-breaker and then used props of the boat (Saint Peter) and Bible (St. Paul) to point out their biographical profiles, differences, and relationship to Jesus.  The children were led to their designated classrooms with their counselors to do crafts and other activities while the two Sisters interacted with the children and joined them for some crafts. The event ended with lunch and socials. It was a great moment to see the children so interested in the Sisters and asking questions.  We plant the seed of vocation and God waters it! We might have some future Carmelites among them!
