IN FOCUS: THE MOTHER ANGELINE HERITAGE CENTER

The Mother Angeline Heritage Center is the place dedicated to the memory of Venerable Mary Angeline Teresa McCrory, O.Carm., Foundress of the Carmelite Sisters for the Aged and Infirm. It is located on the convent grounds of the Carmelite Sisters in Germantown, New York. It houses items, memorabilia, display photos and other protected items connected with Venerable Mary Angeline. It also has a replica of the the actual room used by Venerable Mary Angeline during her lifetime and the room she died in. The center has an audio-visual room where visitors can view the story of the Congregation. It has a beautiful entrance lobby where visitors can purchase books and other resources produced by The Mother Angeline Society. There is a beautiful sitting area with the comfortable hearth adding to the homey atmosphere of the center. A beautiful stained glass window picturing Our Lady of Mount Carmel with Mother Angeline and her six companions can be admired. The center also has a spacious space to boast. At the back of the center is a beautiful garden and meditation space. The life-size bronze statue of Venerable Mary Angeline positioned in adoration of the Blessed Sacrament can be found.

The Heritage Center is open to the public. Prior arrangement is required.
