March 8: My Lenten Reflections

Hello everyone! What does Lent mean to me? It means that it is a time when we can reflect on how loving we are to our fellow sisters in community, our residents, and staff in our homes, and whenever we are out and about. Do we get frustrated with the slow driver or yell when someone cuts you off, or do we stay calm and thank that person to yourself for helping you with your patience that day?  It's also a time to look inside myself and see if I live in a way that does resemble Christ. Examining the way we talk and interact with all those God wishes to put in our lives. Whether it is to use us to help them in some way, or maybe using that other person to teach us something. How do we respond, with love or with frustration? Its a time of transforming our lives to reach Heaven the best we humanly can.
