March 7: My Lenten Reflections

“Behold, now is the acceptable time; behold, now is the day of salvation…” 2 Cor 6:2

Lent is a special time of God’s grace, His outpouring of Himself.  For me, it’s a 40 day preparation to enter more deeply with the Lord in His Passion, Death and Resurrection during the Sacred Triduum. It’s a time of using mortification, sacrifices and prayer inserted into my daily routine to be more conformed to Jesus for the conversion and salvation of souls (my own, especially) and trying to live more intentionally in accord with the Divine Will!
