March 12: My Lenten Reflections

Lent for me is a time to examine my relationship with God and where my heart is oriented. It’s about renewal and turning towards God and away from all that can distract me from Him. It’s about becoming that Life- giving spring where others can drink the waters of the Spirit as they journey through the desert of their lives. I must first ensure that I am that spring that continues to answer the call of the eternal Spirit/spring “Come, all you who are thirsty, come to the waters; and you who have no money, come, buy and eat! Come, buy wine and milk without money and without cost. Isaiah 55: 1. May the waters of our humanity be changed into the wine of God’s joy this Lent.
