Homegrown Story: Ozanam Hall Celebrates Foundation Day

Here at Ozanam Hall Nursing Home, we celebrated Foundation Day which was normally on September 3, on Tuesday September 6th, so that more employees were able to participate.  The Auxillary Bishop Witold Mroziewski was our celebrant for Mass along with his accompanying Deacon as Master of Ceremonies. Sister Philip Ann did the readings  and Gail Donovan did the Prayer of the Faithful. Residents from our 8th and 9th floors, along with the many employees, enjoyed his words at the homily. The music was enjoyable as well. The bishop then went around the chapel blessing all who attended and then blessed the rest of the facility via the closed circuit television. The bishop came to join the Sisters for lunch at our refectory. It was a beautiful day enjoyed by all.
