O Faith,
You are so beautiful!

The invisible ladder
bringing us God from heaven.
You are a mystery
Soothing the wounds
Of our laboring ways.

The precious pearl so well hid
Possessions of this world cannot bid.
I pray to possess you,
to beg from God of you,
But you are so elusive,
Unless one be simple and true.
O Faith,
How beautiful you are!
Through you I find God in all.
