At the dawn of life God created me
From the womb of darkness He released me.
This wonderful world of life He gave me,
Drawing me close to His reality.

At the noon of life God hid Himself from me
To the creatures around he abandoned me
Casting His gaze from the distance only
Seemingly absent, disengaged from all my worries.

In the evening of life God will come to find me,
All my questions will then cease to be,
Faith will find the light,
Hope will find its rest,
And the lover will find her beloved.
