This site is a reference to the Spring of Saint Elias in Mount Carmel. The early hermits nourished themselves with the waters of that spring as they lived their lives of prayer, work and contemplation. They also brought forth fruits of holiness from their life of total surrender to God.

The Spring of Carmel is a symbolism of the hidden works of the Holy Spirit in the heart of each Carmelite.

"I will allure her; I will lead her into the desert and speak to her heart" says God to the prophet Hosea. Part of the Carmelite heritage is expressed through poems, prose, songs and spiritual reflections.
Read the poems of John of the Cross, Therese of the Child Jesus, Teresa of Avila, Blessed Elizabeth of the Trinity and more. Your heart will be captured and your mind will be lifted up to God.
