"It was fun getting to know the residents through conversations and activities and knowing that I was using my talents for the Lord.  There were other volunteers from all over the country and there was a great feeling of serving together.  We had opportunities for prayer and personal space that helped me reflect on this unique experience.  I saw what the SALT missionaries do and I thought, "I can do that!" - Sr. Doris Benitez, SALT Missionary 2017 and 2018

Sister Doris Benitez

"SALT was a very meaningful experience for me. I enjoyed working with the other missionaries, getting to know them and sharing our lives. I also got to know myself better and and grow in my relationship with Christ. We were given opportunities to pray together and to listen to God. Working with the residents individually helped me to learn how to listen to them. What the elderly need most of all is having someone to take time to listen to them and to show interest." - Sr. Morgan Mondello, SALT Missionary 2017 and 2018

Sister Morgan Mondello

Sister Doris and Sister Morgan discovered their vocation as a Sister while serving with SALT!
