- About Us
Alleluia! May your Easter Season be blessed!
We are consecrated religious in the Catholic Church and members of a Congregation founded by Venerable Mary Angeline Teresa, dedicated to the service and care of the Aged and Infirm, in the spirit and tradition of the Carmelite Order.
Our apostolate is not only to staff and operate up-to-date homes for the aged, but as religious it is to bring Christ to every person under our care. Bringing Christ means giving them His compassion, His interest, His loving care, His warmth morning, noon and night. It means inspiring the lay people who work with us, to give the same type of loving care.
Mother M. Angeline Teresa (Bridget Teresa McCrory) was born on January 21, 1893 in Mountjoy, County Tyrone, Ireland. When she was seven years of age her family migrated to Scotland and at the age of nineteen she left home to become a Little Sister of the Poor, a Congregation engaged in the care of the destitute aged. She made her Novitiate in La Tour, France and after Profession she was sent to the United States.
"Our apostolate is not only to provide care in up to date homes for the aged, but as religious, it is to bring Christ to every old person under our care." - Mother Angeline Teresa, Foundress
Our values define who we are in carrying out the mission God and His Church entrusted to us:
Our prayer life is aimed to reflect the spirit of Saint Elias, the father of Carmel, who lived in the presence of God and always returned to the solitude of contemplation to deepen his union with the Father.
"Serving the Aged Lovingly Today"
A mission experience for women ages 18 - 40.

We, the Carmelite Sisters for the Aged and Infirm, are a religious congregation dedicated to the service of God in an apostolate which focuses on care to the aged. In our ministry to the aged, we uphold the authentic teaching of the Roman Catholic Church and philosophy of our Foundress, Mother M. Angeline Teresa, regarding the value and right to life of each person from conception throughout the stages of living.
The Mother Angeline Society is dedicated to promoting the Cause for Beatification and Canonization of Venerable Mary Angeline Teresa, the Foundress of the Carmelite Sisters for the Aged and Infirm, and for advancing her charism in the Church.
