2014 Rosary Rally

Sister Helena - Sunday, October 19, 2014

The Carmelite Sisters for the Aged and Infirm held their Annual Rosary Rally on October 18, 2014 at Saint Teresa’s Motherhouse in Germantown, NY.  The day was dedicated to praying for world peace in memory of James Foley on what would have been his 41st birthday.  James had great devotion to the Rosary, and was a parishioner of Holy Family Parish in Rochester, New Hampshire, where the Mother Angeline Ministers of Care serve the sick and the homebound.  The event was attended by members of the Carmelite family- Friars, pre-Novices, Sisters, Third Order members, family, friends and the general public who came to celebrate the Mother of God.  Despite the threatening clouds, the Rosary procession proceeded with apprehension for a chance of rain, but was completed with the beautiful spectacle of a crisp, clear, and colorful autumn day typical of this part of Upstate New York!
